  • Administration Building

Located in the center of the village, the administration building is a spire constructed from the surrounding rocks that towers high above everything but the nearby cliffs and mountain ranges. Six smaller spires seem to float in an asymmetrical pattern around the central spire, a testament to the unique building techniques of the region. This is where the Tsuchikage works and where all administrative matters are handled in Iwagakure.

  • Training Grounds

Iwagakure’s training grounds are located deep within the mountain range that rings the village. With a small entryway carved to look like it’s placement was natural, a short but winding pathway leads into an expansive naturally occurring geode. Lit with a curious reaction that causes soft green light to radiate from the crystals that cover the ceiling and walls, the chamber is more than large enough to host hundreds of shinobi.

  • Hospital

Unlike the majority of buildings within the village, the hospital is made of golden and fragrant planks of white cedar wood. The contrast between the hard stone of the surrounding buildings and the texture of the two story building is one that creates a feeling of peace and warmth. The interior is modern, though with soft colours and light to promote a quick recovery.

  • Academy Building

In the northern section of the village is a sturdy and austere looking two story structure. The building is used primarily for the education of the aspiring shinobi within Iwa. With large timbers framing the double doors that lead into the practical interior, it is an imposing structure built with practicality in mind.

  • Cemetery

Along the northwestern base of the cliffs is a sprawling and gated cemetery. Paths weave amongst the many headstones and jars, with a few larger monuments to the deceased peppered throughout. A low stone wall surrounds the area, with a small flower garden with benches, respectfully tended everyday.

  • Market Place

The Market of Stones. Craftsmanship is highly valued with the village of Iwa, and as such the Market of Stones is given prominence and placed along a winding street beginning in the eastern section near the gates and ending just shy of the Stone Monument in the west. There are many permanent structures that set themselves back from the road, leaving room for tables and carts to fill the space in between. Many of the food carts and restaurants place themselves nearest the shallow river that runs from the waterfalls on the cliffs.
