Hallway Fights and Immature Idealism [Akame/No-kill]

Post by Tetsuji on Wed Nov 08, 2017 7:11 pm

"Jutsu are incredibly important to a ninja's success." the chuunin sensei lectured off from the front of the room of students. Standing to the left of the board and facing off to them, there were several notes written to the board about all sorts of things vaguely, mainly jutsu and their graduation exam that was coming up for them. In one hand he held a stick of chalk that was used to mark the black board and in his other hand was another book that he was reading from diligently. The sensei continued on, "The ability to use chakra and mold it together in a way to produce jutsu is a critical skill you all need to learn and master. Some of you will have incredibly powerful jutsu one day that you can use to protect the village and others of you will have even more special jutsu from your respective clans passed down to you." At the words Tetsuji's mental image would flash to the sharingan and its prowess, Kekkai Genkai of the sort. "In the end, a ninja who has mastery and control over their jutsu leads to success on the battlefield." he finished but came to a quick stop as he glared across the classroom rather quickly.

A hand shot up just near Tetsuji, actually from two seats over as one of the more vocal kids of the academy shot his hand up and his voice accompanied alongside it without hesitation. Tetsuji had been writing a note into his notebook as the voice sprang up, "What do you mean on the battlefield, there haven't been any fights at all since the villages got made! And no one can beat the Hokage! Even Madara ran away because he was that scared!"

Tetsuji's hand tightened around his pencil, the face that accompanied his voice had turned slightly and even smirked as Tetsuji's hand flattened against the wooden table they were sat at. "That doesn't-" the sensei tried to reason with him but was cut off as Tetsuji leaned forward and spoke up at him, "He didn't run away from him!" the words were stern and loud, cutting densely into the air as the kid had gotten the reaction he'd wanted, or was he even seeking to get one? He'd certainly found on nonetheless.

The sensei had closed his book but left his finger to hold the page, seeing the sort of tenacity that was brewing up in Tetsuji's eyes and the other kids taunting look. "He ran. away. scared of the Hokage because he can't keep up! That's why the Uchiha lost and it's why they can't even do anything now!" he retorted back.

"That's not what happened! You don't know what you're talking about!" Tetsuji had started to lean in towards him, his eyes were deadlocked with their other kids and at the time the two of them were ready to argue this to death if not more. But it was the sensei who finally made his move and let out a bellowing yell to the class, "That's enough! Both of you sit down and not another word or I'll have both of you in detention after school with me!" his eyes held its rage and his tone was well beyond serious.

It was the other kid who stood up with one hand on his desk and his left pointing back towards Tetsuji as he yelled out, "But he's the one who started it! I didn't even do anything wrong!" this time he was fully yelling in opposition of it rather than his just his own loud tone but Tetsuji jumped up and looked at him and the sensei in response, "I did not! It was-"

The sensei yelled out, "Fine, both of you get two days of detention! Any more and I'll make it a week!"

Tetsuji fell back in defeat with a sigh, gritting his teeth of the situation as he could feel the eyes moving and looking at him. With Tetsuji's defeat the kid seemed to join in on dropping the issue for the time being and the sensei opened his book back up and continued lecturing on about jutsu and how they were to be tested on a few essential jutsu for their graduation exam. The lecture continued on though as they always did with further details of the jutsu they could be tested on and all the other subjects and intricacies. It bothered Tetsuji less than some of the other students, for him, he would study hard and do as well as he always had in the class. Graduating was less concern to him than it probably should be but still so prominent nonetheless. If he would graduate, what would happen when he became a genin, if he'd be put on a squad, would he unlock his sharingan soon, etc...?

All the questions of a kid lost in his own world and that kept him passively busy as he continued to take notes and listen to his teacher before the lecture was ended. As they were dismissed, Tetsuji gathered up his things and ignored the growing conversation as they were allotted a small amount of time before they were heading off to their next training usually consisting of running laps around the school yard. Still, as Tetsuji dropped in the notebook and slid away the pencils, he had an odd feeling about himself, the kid didn't say anything to him and the class seemed to empty rather quickly.

Tetsuji stood up quietly from his desk and slung the bag around his right shoulder as he held the strap and proceeded to slide his left arm through while turning and walking to the stairs in the middle. A few more steps and to the back of the room and out the door without really a word to anyone that he passed by or his sensei, his eyes trained downwards as he shuffled his way quietly out into the hallway. A quick turn to the right and his head down, it wasn't more than maybe five steps before a sound rang out in the air and cut off his inattentiveness and quieted the sound of nearby conversation in the hallway.

"Hey!" the words rang out and Tetsuji turned to address the kid from before along with two of his other pals that corralled behind him with snickers on their face. His was a bit different though as it carried a more smug look that bordered on angry. "I got detention because of you! Now what do you have to say about that?!" his interrogation continued but Tetsuji held himself a bit puzzled and wide-eyed.

"It's your own fault for argui-" Tetsuji was cut off as the kid placed his hands to Tetsuji's shoulders and pushed him back. He took a step back and saved his balance but his hands fell from the straps to his side and that bit of annoyance and frustration started to crawl into the back of his mind and the top of his throat.

"That's not what I asked! Or are you stupid like the rest of your clan too?!"

The words irked even further and started to bubble in his mind as Tetsuji looked around, outmatched three to one and of the crowd forming around him it didn't seem that among the whispers anyone was too keen to step in and stop the ensuing beat down that Tetsuji was preparing to face. Or maybe there was, there was just a bit of rage building in Tetsuji and really, that was all that he was really seeing at the moment.

"Look, if you don't watch it I'll activate my sharingan and then you won't stand a chance! Call my clan stupid but you still can't beat any of us in a fight!" the defiant tone carried as Tetsuji brought his hands together and formed the Rat hand seal across his chest. A tense moment carried as his three opponents and even most of those in the now developed crowd expecting a fight stepped back and gasped a bit as Tetsuji threatened the use of chakra and jutsu but it was all a bluff. Carried out for a moment as Tetsuji looked intently onto his three opponents and forsook everything else around him, a single bead of sweat from his temple carried as a side affect of his own nervousness at his own bluff. Part of him hoping that the very threat of such would warrant them backing off and running away or even groveling at his feet to spare them.

But no, none of that would happen as the kid who taunted Tetsuji so saw the bead of sweat and stood straight at the sign with a quick smirk over his face. "Hey, he's just bluffing, get him!" he yelled out and charged forwards, his two lackeys behind him hesitated but as the kid charged and Tetsuji dropped his hand sign they were full boar as well to deliver a punch or two of their own. The kid who taunted him so was called Hiro in shorthand of his full name and as he got in range, he delivered a solid hit to Tetsuji who fell backwards at the notion. Hiro almost fell over top of him but held his balance as Tetsuji fell to the ground and directly on his own bag, bringing his hands to cover his face from the next blow that might be coming.

Maybe next time he would just punch first instead of trying to bluff about it, besides, if anyone deserved to just get hit every now and then it would be him, especially for what he had to say about his clan.

Re: Hallway Fights and Immature Idealism [Akame/No-kill]

Post by Akame on Wed Nov 08, 2017 8:06 pm

Just another day in the Academy is was for the young Akame, whom of with was in the same classroom as a few others, listening to their Chuunin Sensei speak, though instead of writing down notes at this moment, he was sketching instead. It was decent enough, he supposed. It was only of a tree he can see out of the nearby window so he couldn't exactly say he did an amazing job or anything of the sort, just that it was just good enough. The way he figured was that because his older brother was one of the instructors here, he can just ask him for a basic rundown of the lesson later, receive whatever small punishment comes with it, and still keep his spot as a student doing well enough. That being the case though he did make sure he listened to little bits and pieces of it, especially when it reached the latter stages of the lesson, where a real commotion broke out.

..."In the end, a ninja who has mastery and control over their jutsu leads to success on the battlefield." The instructor finished, hastily ceased his instruction as he glared across the classroom rather quickly.

It seemed a classmate decided to speak up, and this garnered the entirety of the young Senju's attention; "What do you mean on the battlefield, there haven't been any fights at all since the villages got made! And no one can beat the Hokage! Even Madara ran away because he was that scared!" He could agree with that mostly, though as the self-proclaimed number one fan of Hashirama, Akame must admit that he didn't remember hearing anything about Madara Uchiha running away out of fear. From what his older brother and his mother have said in the past about the Warring States Era, it didn't fit the image of someone as powerful as the leader of the Uchiha Clan.

He knew they were gonna be fighting words too the first second the other kid that was near him spoke up too, even interrupting their sensei."He didn't run away from him!" The way that phrase was delivered showed cleared passion in the matter, but for Akame; a slightly bored twelve year old stuck in class, it meant a whole lot more than passion. He could feel his blood rushing with anticipation at the idea of a possible fight breaking out. The battles between Hashirama and Madara were still alive and well in the hearts of those coming after, and just like that altercation, this one is happening with a disagreement on perception.

"He ran. away. scared of the Hokage because he can't keep up! That's why the Uchiha lost and it's why they can't even do anything now!" he retorted back. Akame didn't feel any malice towards the Uchiha, though as a Hasirama fanboy, he couldn't help but chuckle a little bit at this taunt. He had to nearly stifle it though so the others wouldn't hear. Thankfully this event pretty much drew everyone's eyes to the two arguing. He could feel it around him, they wanted to see a fight break out too, or for their sensei to do lose his temper, whichever comes first.

"That's not what happened! You don't know what you're talking about!"

"That's enough! Both of you sit down and not another word or I'll have both of you in detention after school with me!" Yes! It came! It's childish to feel satisfied by this, but he couldn't help it. It was all the more entertaining to see something like this happen too, to see their sensei essentially shut down the both of them near instantly. 'Oooooh craaaaa-' Just as Akame's thoughts were running through his mind, it seemed the instigator was too stupid to see he's just making things worse. He watched him stand up and yell back at their teacher while pointing at the other kid. "But he's the one who started it! I didn't even do anything wrong!"

"I did not! It was-"

"Fine, both of you get two days of detention! Any more and I'll make it a week!"

And just like that, the outburst ended without getting too out of control. It was entertaining while it lasted, but he'd be lying if he didn't feel some slight feeling of regret for the two, even if they were both arguing over something not even really related to the lesson. Detention isn't exactly something that's fun to do. No one looks at detention as something they're okay with, and overall it just leaves a bad taste in your mouth after it is finished.

The lecture continued on after this, with their sensei giving further details in jutsu and what's required for their exam, along with what they'll be tested on. With that argument and the fact he finished his sketch, Akame decided to further listen and observe details on the matter. This was the real important information, the stuff that he's going to be focusing on outside of school and on his own time. Graduating was of extreme importance to him, so anything regarding the topic would be something he would always pay attention to so he can ensure it. Just like the other kids in the room and how they look up to their Hokage, Akame wished to take it a step farther, and becoming a Genin was the important first step to this.

Soon enough, the lecture had ended, and Akame would gather up his notebook. "Hiro's gonna beat him up today, you can just tell." His neighbor was whispering to her friends as they giggled. He could easily tell it too considering how angry he was at getting detention for being loudmouthed. It wouldn't surprised him if Hiro was stupid too, but he didn't think much of it. Chances are if a fight did happen it would probably happen off academy grounds anyways, so there wasn't much to do except continue making his way out of the classroom and towards the grounds so he can see if there's anything fun he can do in the short timespan he has.

He wouldn't make it far into the hallway though when the bell sounded, but he had already passed Hiro and two others that were silently talking. He wasn't surprised by what happened next, but where. Literally Hiro has to be stupid to fight this close to the instructors."I got detention because of you! Now what do you have to say about that?!"

Clearly he still held onto what happened earlier as the other kid's fault, despite it not being so. He also was seemingly not interested in an answer either as right when the other kid spoke back, Hiro pushed him. Suddenly, almost like vultures to a corpse, other students came out of nowhere and began circling the four, waiting for a fight to happen. "That's not what I asked! Or are you stupid like the rest of your clan too?!"

Akame couldn't help but wince at that insult. Hiro was definitely going to fight the Uchiha for his own mistake. Geez, of course something like this would happen. He just wished it happened somewhere where he didn't end up having to watch, he didn't know if he could actually watch, even.

"Fight, fight, fight, fight..." The surrounding students began to chant, and while Akame could no longer hear them talk, let alone see them for the most part, he could hear parts of the Uchiha speaking and of Hiro calling out a bluff. The young Senju began shoving his way to the front of the group in order to see what was happening, but what he came to see was Hiro knocking the Uchiha kid to the ground.

"Stop it Hiro!" Akame yelled out as he threw his notebook at the back of the attacking boy's head, the hardback book whizzing through the air towards its target. "People like you are exactly what the First Hokage fought against, you jerk!"

Immediately he would run into the fold, making an attempt to tackle one of the two lackies of this bully, hoping to help give the Uchiha a fighting chance.

Re: Hallway Fights and Immature Idealism [Akame/No-kill]

Post by Tetsuji on Wed Nov 08, 2017 8:46 pm

Tetsuji hit the ground with his back to the floor and his arms crossed over his face in an 'X'-pattern to shield himself from the impending attack. As he fell to the ground it seemed to fall into a sort of slow motion enhancement of everything going on around him. Maybe he was just slowing down or his head was speeding up but it gave him a second to think. Literally on how he was about to take quite a beating from Hiro and his two idiot friends but at the very least, with the crowd and chanting perhaps it wouldn't be too long before one of the sensei in the nearby rooms or even from the room he was just in would come running to break things up and chew them out. That might end up saving Tetsuji a few punches and bruises in consequence.

Still, Tetsuji's slow-motion comprehension of his environment was broken by the sound of yelling from behind them, none of the words or action really made out in his mind as he was too distracted by saving himself from being punched and/or kicked subsequently. What he did find was Hiro turning his head to the sound and... a book? Object of some kind flying through the air and hitting him in the side of his head as he turned.

It was all that Tetsuji had, a small break in the action and he found his chance! Letting his arms fall down and to his sides to prop his body up, he brought his knees towards his chest and felt the spring in his abs tighten up as he let out a kick forwards into Hiro's stomach and tried to knock him over from a solid kick with both of his feet.

Whether not that would work or not, Tetsuji had to capitalize and Hiro would at least be reeling from the blow if not knocked totally to the ground from the subsequent kick. Sliding his arms from his bag and to his body, lanking upwards from his kick as he planted his feet against the ground, he saw briefly some commotion with Hiro's lackey but ignored it for the moment to instead charge right at Hiro and tackle him to the ground.

With his body down and an intensity in his eyes, Tetsuji would form over top of him and sit over his stomach on a knee and one foot raised, his fist formed tightly into a ball as he threw the first punch at Hiro. It landed cleanly but it wasn't definitely enough to make him feel and so Tetsuji wound up again to deliver another as Hiro brought his arms over his own face, no doubt hoping that his other friends might come to his aid. "What about the Uchiha being dumb now?!" he yelled out as his fist reached another high point and was cocked back to deliver another strike at his maximum strength.

Around the hallway the cheers of the broken out fight began to expand and with every blow there would be a quick burst of energy throughout the crowd as they energized around it. No doubt their fight wouldn't have long but with every sparing second he could afford, Tetsuji needed to drive in the point that the Uchiha were no joke! Even if this time he was probably destined to get his own ass absolutely handed to him right there despite a quick intervention from outside, he'd still take every hit he could get and count every blow he would get to Hiro as a small victory.

Yes! The book hit Hiro square-on and from what Akame could see before colliding with the lacky, the Uchiha was able to get back up and turn the tables. Immediately Akame moved his head to the side, colliding with the midsection of the other male and knocking him back a little, though his happiness would fade quickly when he felt a sharp knee strike him in the gut, and hard. Afterwards, he would feel two hands grab the back of his kimono's collar, essentially yanking him off of the lacky, where he would be paid with a left hook right to the right cheek.

"Fight fight fight fight..."

Akame would allow the punch to knock him onto the ground, where he sat, rubbing the side of his cheek as he looked to his side.

"What about the Uchiha being dumb now?!" He heard the Uchiha yell out as he watched the other male's fist reach another high point and was cocked back to deliver another strike at his maximum strength.

The cheers were getting louder, no doubt the instructors are going to come investigate soon. Akame scrambled for his nearby notebook, grabbing it and throwing it once more at the lacky as a means of distracting him for a quick second, the other one seemingly waiting nearby for some reason, doing nothing.

"Come on, we need to get out of here before we're caught!" Akame would attempt to touch the Uchiha's shoulder, making an attempt to shake him urgently. "They're not worth getting in trouble for!"

Immediately, whether or not the other male followed him behind or remained a little longer, Akame would begin shoving his way out of the crowd of students. Some attempted to keep him within, but he still refused to remain in the circle and forcibly left the fight, leaving the rest behind.

Soon enough, he ended up on the other side of the crowd, where he would rub the his cheek, the stinging sensation still going on as he would attempt to make his way out of the academy.

Reaching the outside of the academy, Akame would survey the damage; A lack of a notebook, a lightly bruised right cheek, and his kimono ruffled with some dull stomach pain. Overall, that had gone far better than he had thought, though he only hoped the Uchiha didn't stay behind to keep fighting. It wouldn't be ideal for either one of them to get in trouble, but the Uchiha moreso, since they literally weren't even a few meters away from their already annoyed instructor's door.

Nonetheless, he had to focus on himself for a few moments. "Stupid, stupid, stupid!" Smacking his head three times in a row, he would look around before breathing a deep sigh of relief, leaning against the wooden wall of the Academy's exterior and looking at the sky above. He can still hear the chanting loud and clear inside. "Brother's going to kill me for this.."

After speaking to himself, he would get to actually dusting himself off, brushing both hands over his clothes. It only took a few brisk moments to do so, and only a little longer to readjust and fix his kimono as well. The stinging sensations in his stomach and right cheek will still be there, but that's manageable, now it's more just his figuring out what the next step was going to be. Hiro wasn't exactly the forgiving type, and if it weren't for that surprise attack, he definitely would've won that fight. They were classmates, so no doubt Hiro will quickly figure out who attacked him and get some payback on them soon enough. Drat, that was one of the last things Akame was looking forward to. Now, not only did he just get into a fight right next to his instructor's doorway, but he also pretty much made sure that he was dead meat soon enough as well.

What's next? He accidentally sets the school on fire?

If the Uchiha made it out, Akame would look towards him, observing what he was doing. "Are you alright? What's your name?" Despite what his family had told him about the clan and how he should be wary around them, all he saw today was one kid bullying another, and while this male, whom of which looked older than him by about a year or so and taller than him by about six inches, was an Uchiha, he was also someone that clearly needed some help at the time too.

Re: Hallway Fights and Immature Idealism [Akame/No-kill]

Post by Tetsuji on Fri Nov 10, 2017 8:06 pm

Tetsuji's fist rose through the air and came crashing down, just barely clipping Hiro's arm as he planted the balled up fist into his face again. No where near the power he'd want behind it but it was so much more difficult to punch past his guard and all at the same time as he wriggled underneath Tetsuji. Two more fists came flying down in fashion but this time quicker and with more emotion but his combination was cut off by the realization of a voice behind him. Urging him to leave the area and not get in trouble for their fighting. That's mostly what caught his attention and brought him out of his enraged state to step back up and look around him.

In doing so, Hiro immediately used his feet to kick back and separate from Tetsuji, a bit of blood trickled from his nose and Tetsuji's face turned to the other two lackey's that were stuck in their place as they decided to chase after the other person or just return to trying to beat Tetsuji again.

It left Tetsuji in an interesting predicament as he sorted through his position and took a step back, seeing through the crowd as his ally in this fight pushed through and the crowd that had assembled roaring about the area as they wanted, almost demanded, more of their fight to ensue. Still, Tetsuji took a step in the direction follow and the other two of Hiro's gang stepped towards Tetsuji to most likely block off his path and prevent his retreat.

Though before anything could happen, a pop almost like an explosion hit the ground around them and everything fell silent for a quick moment. Perhaps it was that Tetsuji was just blocked from view and saw nothing anymore as smoke quickly filled up the room and panicked shouts from everyone filled the hallway. The smoke bomb was a bit much but there was no mistake that their teacher was trying to break things up quickly, disorient and catch the hooligans who were fighting at the scene of the crime. Tetsuji made no mistake about it, he knew what he had to do but was he already seen? There had to be no doubt about that but it wouldn't stop his escapade down the hall.

After a few quick steps to the side and towards the crowd, trying to avoid the other two imbeciles that were trying to block his path. It was a quick jolt as he ran into the first person among the edge of the crowd, they were already mostly dispersed but Tetsuji kept on, running past them with a small shoulder bump and out of the cloud of smoke as it began to dissipate, he charged onwards in the direction the other boy had run but had seemingly lost sight of him.

It wasn't until Tetsuji made it to the exterior of the academy that he found him again standing just outside the academy as well. Tetsuji turned back and didn't see anyone immediately following him, Hiro or any of the teachers which lent a small bit of relief on Tetsuji's back. He hunched over and placed his hands on his knees to take a breath of relief before his attention was cut out by the sound of a voice.

"Huh?" Tetsuji would reply instantly as he looked back towards the other boy and began to stand up straight again.

"Yeah, I'm fine. It's Tetsuji..." he would continue on almost instantly as his brain took a moment to digest the question but trailed off from there. He didn't really understand why this stranger helped him out or even tried to, he didn't know his name much less anything but for now Tetsuji would figure that he should just be grateful and beyond that, didn't have much desire to stick around where they were for very long. Perhaps it would be rude though, his older sister always drilling that into his head as she could, to 'behave or you'll never find a girlfriend!' or anything of that sort. Useless lecturing in the end but since the boy had been so kind, Tetsuji would save himself the trouble and return the pleasantries of their situation.

After a short moment, Tetsuji would stretch out his hand to offer it to the other boy, even a bit awkwardly as he would speak up, "Thanks for helping out and all... and what should I call you? And... if you don't mind me asking, why did you try to help anyways?" he would continue on for a small moment until the name was returned. The inflection would add to Tetsuji's tone of just being a bit confused at what had been going on, not sure of what his intentions were or if he were just playing the part of the passing hero. Either way, Tetsuji would have to be grateful that he saved him this time for sure.

Re: Hallway Fights and Immature Idealism [Akame/No-kill]

Post by Akame on Sat Nov 11, 2017 11:02 pm

"Nice to meet you, Tetsuji." Akame would say as he took Tetsuji's hand, shaking it as he offered a smile to him. The handshake was awkward, hinting to the young Senju that he wasn't exactly comfortable with this. Frankly, such a thing didn't surprise him. Literally their first face-to-face interaction was that fight, and as soon as he helped out he immediately got out as well, so it more than likely wasn't something that had a lasting impression.

"Thanks for helping out and all... and what should I call you? And... if you don't mind me asking, why did you try to help anyways?"

"Oh, my name's Akame Senju. Sorry, forgot to give my name back." With that, Akame would offer a shrug to Tetsuji. Before it, he was just amused by the argument. He didn't even feel much of a desire to help out the Uchiha. It wasn't something born out of some sort of prejudice, but more or less because of the fact that there was a childish desire to see something add some more drama to it all. For the fight, he knows he announced how Hashirama wouldn't like Hiro's doing what he was doing, but that wasn't the reason why he wanted to help out, it was more or less him trying to get the bully's attention. It would be then though, that he knew what it was.

He looked away for a few seconds, his smile fading. "No one should have to deal with Hiro." He had his own fair share of run-ins with the other boy when he was younger, and while he fell off his radar, it doesn't remove the past beat-downs, "pranks", and verbal lashes. Still, this display of vulnerability lasted but half a second, he can't just show weakness out of nowhere, of course, so instead he made eye contact with Tetsuji once more, smile showing.

"It didn't seem like you needed help though from how fast you were able to jump on top of him. It was really cool!" He exclaimed. From the tidbits that he saw while he distracted one of the lackies, it was really cool seeing how fast the tables turned, at least to him, someone that hasn't had full-on combative training outside of one or two classroom fights.

Looking back towards the entryway, Akame would initially see nothing. A wave of relief crashed over him, and such a feeling was accompanied with the consideration to actually ditch the remainder of class for the day. "You know, we're gonna get in pretty big trouble if we go back in.." He began, though let his voice wander off while he looked back towards Tetsuji. Despite his not really being huge on skipping, he also didn't want his brother to know of his involvement in the fight. It was one thing to just skip school for a day, as every student does that at one point or another, whether from faking being sick or just goofing off. A fight would be something way worse. He shudders to think of what consequences could happen there.

"We could hold off until later? Hang out until some of the drama dies down and try and catch the last class. Right now we'll just get in trouble if we go back in while they're still rounding up everyone."

The boy returned his handshake and Tetsuji let out a small internal sigh of relief as his awkward post-interaction introduction was picked up in kind. After a moment though, Tetsuji would spark up at the boy's last name. Senju. The clan that his father and grandfather held such disdain for and strangely admiration at the same time for their clan's power and prowess against the Uchiha historically. Even the Hokage was of the Senju clan and could keep toe to toe with Madara, even besting him in battle, there was no doubt about the extent of his power and the clan's beyond it. His eyes would daze for a second in thought at most but he would quickly snap back out of it as Akame would shift the conversation.

Akame's commiserating over how much of a pain Hiro can be brought some calm to Tetsuji who gave a quick smile and nod in return for the sentiment. Though, he might not have agreed so much that his anger induced attack on Hiro was cool perse but maybe it was? Not much of a detail worth noting but Tetsuji just awkwardly laughed and scratched at the back of his neck, "Oh, that? That wasn't anything really... I just had to get a hit in before he turned his attention back to me is all."

After a moment of quick commentary on their most likely soon-to-be fates, Tetsuji nodded along with him and took a few lingered steps away from the door he'd just exited from. Holding off til later sounded like a good enough idea, but there was still a bit of detail left out of his plan, regardless, Tetsuji would nod along and speak up. "I think at the very least we'll be in trouble no matter what when Hiro tries to blame me or you for starting all of that. Not like the sensei ever really cared for those kinda arguments anyways..." he paused and shook his head lightly, knowing that they'd have to pay the piper at some point or another. But frankly, Tetsuji was on a bit of a high from it all. He hadn't gotten anywhere near the payback he wanted but at the same time, he did get a few good shots in whereas Hiro didn't so that equated to a win for him, right?

A pointless musing to say the least but it was score 1 for the Uchiha in their bout and no doubt he'd be paying for that victory against Hiro again somehow and with the principle for fighting. With a small sigh Tetsuji would continue on, "Have anywhere in mind we can wait things out? I don't know if we should linger too far or we might add truancy to our punishment too, but if you're fine with that, I might have an idea?" he would leave off the details for now to see what Akame thought or might suggest. It didn't matter much to him but the ever lingering thought of what would happen if he ended up on Senju clan grounds did pop into his head for a brief moment afterwards. Quickly shoved out of his mind though as they were a village now, and the Senju advocated most for it! There wouldn't be any problems there would it, but would Akame feel the same about going to the Uchiha clan compound?

His grandma's tea shop was always so good but the Uchiha were much more secretive and selective about things. Maybe it would be worse for him bringing a Senju to the Uchiha than going to visit the Senju. Either way, the ball was in Akame's court now and his pointless mental posturing would fall away as he awaited a reply.

Re: Hallway Fights and Immature Idealism [Akame/No-kill]

Post by Akame on Tue Nov 14, 2017 12:10 pm

"That hit you got in probably is making Hiro cry right now though since it knocked him flat." Akame responded to his new friend's modest explanation with a little fake right hook shot towards nothing at all. It couldn't have been clearer to him that Tetsuji was embarrassed by what had happened, but he couldn't help talking about it. For him, someone that was more academically strong rather than physically strong, it looked amazing to see even a cheap shot change everything at that moment. He couldn't put it into a lot of words as to what he looked like, so what had happened, but he could think of five;

He looked like a shinobi.

"I think at the very least we'll be in trouble no matter what when Hiro tries to blame me or you for starting all of that. Not like the sensei ever really cared for those kinda arguments anyways..." It was true. There was a reason why it was funny to watch Sensei lose his temper. It was a rare time to watch the Chuunin instructor lose his temper with students of a class, generally he just posed as an individual that just sees what happened in front of him rather than someone that listens to reason. No doubt Hiro's going to have to spin it to be pretty one-sided to even convince the man to even consider either Akame or Tetsuji that they were the ones that started it. Then again, with two "witnesses" on top of that...

'Drat, I forgot about his two friends!' Chances are Tetsuji already knew about the fact that Hiro could spin something like that and have kids that will vouch for him. He didn't need to tell him the obvious, they just needed to leave and fast.

"Yeah, true that. It was funny watching Sensei get angry in the middle of class though. I wouldn't want to deal with that now." He looked back into the academy building again. No sign of anyone just yet, though the thick vapors of the smoke bomb still lingered. Whether bully or Sensei, it was painfully obvious that if they wanted to leave, they should do it now before the staff catches the hint and goes out to find them.

"Have anywhere in mind we can wait things out? I don't know if we should linger too far or we might add truancy to our punishment too, but if you're fine with that, I might have an idea?"

'If only I did..' Nothing was coming up. He couldn't bring the Uchiha to his home because his brother might flip, and he can't take him to explore the Senju's Clan Compound either because he knew of that fact that there are still some people living there that feel like Lord First is too soft on them, that Tobirama and the rest of their lost family should be avenged. But, it did make him curious to see a place owned by Uchiha though. He wasn't exactly allowed to go to those places himself. Even though that wouldn't have stopped him, he had heard more than enough horror stories to make the younger him shake and quiver in fear.

"I don't have any idea myself, I didn't think any farther than making it out here." He smirked though as he had begun to walk towards the exit way of the academy. "We're already in trouble, truancy probably wouldn't matter much." With a few steps taken towards the exit, Akame turned around and faced Tetsuji again, cheap smirk changed to an enthusiastic grin. "You have an idea? Awesome, I'll go wherever you want to go so let's go. I got no idea, and I want to see what you have in mind. Take responsibility for us getting in trouble."

Whether or not his new forbidden friend protested, he wouldn't give him much of a chance to change his mind from what he had offered. He turned and ran towards the exit of the academy, waving his left him in a beckoning way to the Uchiha. "C'mon already, you're going too slow!"

Re: Hallway Fights and Immature Idealism [Akame/No-kill]

Post by Tetsuji on Sat Nov 18, 2017 8:57 am

Tetsuji began to run through mentally where they could run off to in order to escape the confines of the school. Every potential place where they wouldn't get in trouble otherwise, thinking that home was a terrible idea if his mother found him skipping school and even the Uchiha compound as someone might bring something up. He couldn't impose on Akame entirely in the situation but the number of places they had to hide was fairly diminished but beyond that, Akame was right. They were already in trouble so tacking more onto that wouldn't hurt them that greatly, or would it?

Tetsuji raised a hand up and scratched his cheek while making a quiet hmm to vocalize his own thinking, having stepped a few feet from the doorway already and out of the way to keep out of view. Tetsuji's only remaining idea was to hide in plain sight! Rather, they could head towards the market and from there, it wouldn't be much trouble to hide out a few hours before school ended and they could resume their lives and push off their punishment until the next school day, or, hopefully push it to never.

Before Tetsuji could say anything Akame was already off though, running out towards the Academy exit and in a full run. Tetsuji quickly turned to the balls of his feet and began to press into the ground with every step to build up speed and start getting through everything. The first place they passed through was the first training field with a slight gravel trail cut at the edge of it to make a makeshift track for them to run on. Oddly enough as Tetsuji looked around, there wasn't anyone around, not a peep on the outside academy grounds at all. It unsettled him a bit but as he ran to try to catch up to Akame who had the speed and start time advantage on him, he shook his head and shoved it out of his mind as he pressed forward with a small burst of energy.

The second location that they passed and entered into was their final stretch, assuming that neither boy stopped or anything like that. It was just a walkway made of stone that led from the academy's front door and then maybe one hundred yards before the gateway of the academy opened up to the rest of the village itself. It was like seeing the light at the end of the tunnel and once they crossed that gate they were in some sense free from their immediate troubles and could be left to face them another day but the calmed silence aside from the two boys in a full sprint for the gate left Tetsuji a bit... disoriented to their plan.

Then, in almost an ironic flash a shade moved past the corner of Tetsuji's eye, quicker than he could see, his head turning immediately to the left to try and catch a glimpse of what it might be but nothing was there.

Tetsuji's footsteps would slow down a bit, almost hesitating to move forward as his head quickly rotated back to looking ahead towards Akame and the gate when everything seemed to slow down for a moment.

Stood in their path was their chuunin sensei with a serious anger on his face, arms crossed over his chest and his feet spread wide as he looked down at both of them.

Tetsuji's feet would grind to a halt to stop before he reached him and avoid potentially running into him. Whether Akame would notice or not would be something but almost on command, their sensei would speak out with a growled angry undertone to his voice with his arms still crossed, "Where do you two think you're going?" The rhetorical question would be met with a sharp glaze as it fixated on the two academy students who were close to escape.

"I tied up the others in the hallway, do I have to do the same to you too or are you gonna come willingly?" the sensei's voice rattled off again.

Tetsuji's only response would be to gulp lightly as he prepared himself for whatever came next, whatever follow up to their escape attempt would be.

Time had passed, not incredibly long from their time to escape from the academy and avoid even more trouble and Tetsuji found himself sitting in a chair across from the desk of the academy's principle. His stark demeanor was carried even further as he looked at Tetsuji with his elbows on his desk and his hands folded together under his chin. Tetsuji sat there awkwardly, looking down towards his hands that sat in his own lap and just mentally perusing over what would happen next.

With a grunt and clear of his throat the principle began to speak, "Fighting in the hallways. Attempting to skip school..." a short pause as he wondered if Tetsuji would turn his head upwards to look at him and come face to face with the consequences set before him but nothing of the sort. A slight jostle in Tetsuji's posture as he looked up for a second and returned back down to where he was focused beforehand, no where in particular.

"I'm curious what you were thinking? What will your mother say when she finds out all of this?" the voice sprang up again and Tetsuji shifted about with a sigh, his mouth opening and closing for a brief moment as he contemplated responding.

A conversation began between the two of them, but regardless of how it ended, it would not end well for Tetsuji. His original sentence of two days of detention from in class would be light compared to what he would be doing now.

Re: Hallway Fights and Immature Idealism [Akame/No-kill]

Post by Akame on Sat Nov 18, 2017 11:31 pm

Akame could barely hold in his excitement. Here he was becoming friends with not only another student, but an Uchiha at that! He was looking forward to what they could do together as they wait to avoid the ever inevitable trouble that's looming over the both of them. It wasn't his thing to start a lot of trouble, but so far recently it seemed like his world was getting turned upside down and he was okay with not even knowing where up was anymore. If told just a few weeks before that he would actually talk to an Uchiha, let alone help one out in a fight and then skip school with him, he'd have dismissed it as crazy talk. He was pleased to see how wrong he was.

They ran through the first training field via a slight gravel trail. He recalled their physical exercises and how they ran multiple laps through this path. Under his wooden sandals, the gravel seemed uneasy, but he wasn't one to actually be knocked off balance by something as simple as that. He was an academy student nearing graduation. If he ended up losing his balance on mere gravel he might as well drop out and give up on actually becoming a Genin. 'It looks like we're still perfect, considering how empty it is..' He mused to himself as he gazed around, seeing not a soul in sight. It was almost unsettling, but due to the fact that it was still class time the young Senju left the unsettling feeling to the back of his mind, seeing it as nothing more than a convenience.

The yellow brick road was metaphorically in sight now, and this stone walkway led right towards the gateway; to freedom. "Woot!" He couldn't help himself as he saw the opening to the village just one hundred yards from the academy's front door. He was more than ready to actually get out of here before they get caught and scolded, and, at least to Akame, it was like looking at the end-goal of a game.

Why would life be that easy, though?

The power of bad luck was definitely great, as a single flash spoke doom more to the academy student than an invading army would. It was as if all the joy was sucked out, and all that was left was a smile fading away and unearthing a frown, and a slight pinch of shock.

Directly in their path was their Chuunin Sensei from class; a man with a scowl so vicious and fully of spite that it would be evident to a blind man that he was furious. The arms crossed over his chest serves as the bars holding them away from freedom, his wide-spread legs the cell.

Akame stopped abruptly enough that he nearly fell over from the sheer momentum, his clacking sandals no longer making noise as he stared in fear. "We're busted." was all he could say at this situation.

"Where do you two think you're going?"

The angry, growling tone in his voice already swore a punishment being brought down upon them both. It was clear that they can't talk their way out of the situation, and to try to escape would definitely make things way worse. The last thing he needed was to get tackled by a Chuunin. Yup, they were definitely caught, and there wasn't anything he can do about it.

"Uh.. the bathroom?" The young Senju would suggest in an almost joking manner while his own tone betrayed a sense of nervousness.

"I tied up the others in the hallway, do I have to do the same to you too or are you gonna come willingly?"

Yup, it was all over, it's time to surrender before he gets tied up like an animal.

They were on their way to the principal, the path to the office seemingly going on for an eternity. This was definitely a walk of dread, and with each clacking sound the young Senju made with his sandals expressing an ever-looming sense of dread washing over them, the cloud of punishment that they had entered gave them a silent hill consisting of broken school violations and a strong idea of punishment coming up soon.

Thankfully, Tetsuji was up for the chopping block first, and Akame himself was left outside to wait patiently with their Sensei nearby. 'Was it truly worth it?' He couldn't help but consider the answer. He, an academically solid student with decent scores all around, a strong bloodline, and an even stronger goal, was putting his school career at risk in a series of reckless decisions. Was it actually truly worth it? He did consider though that if he didn't step in he not only wouldn't have possibly opened up the idea to being Tetsuji's friend, but he also would have been partially responsible for if the Uchiha was beaten badly as well. He helped break Hiro's pride and kept to his convictions.

'It was.'

Standing before him as he looked up was an all too familiar face; Hanran Senju; another Chuunin teacher at the academy, and his precious elder brother.

"Let's go. I ensured your Sensei that we would personally oversee your punishment."

The cold tone expressed disappointment rather than a usual stern demeanor. This wasn't just his older sibling speaking, or even his guardian, but an instructor, someone with authority. The tight grip wrapped around the younger Senju's right arm and virtually dragging him away from the office. "I can't believe you were doing that, and with one of them at that. I swear, mother is going to kill the both of us for this, if I don't end up losing my job here." He made sure that they were both out of earshot when he began scolding, knowing that saying such a thing could potentially put his position in danger.

Silence fell upon the both of them as he dragged him out of the academy and through the grounds. "You're putting the both of us in danger here, and I mean far worse than physical. You have expectations to meet, and you're seriously going to be stupid enough to throw them out the window just for a stupid fight and to skip class. What has gotten into you, lately?" Akame couldn't respond at all to what he was saying, he couldn't even figure out what to say even if he wished it. The sun was setting almost as much as the boy's head was, and the only presence that's not stressful at this moment was the view of the ground moving underneath them both.
