He is an individual with brown hair dyed blue and scarlet eyes, and a big blue gem right in the middle of his forehead, which on a normal basis he keeps covered with a brownish-red bandanna. As someone generally cocky, he can usually be seen with some sort of grin or smirk on his face, exposing the sharp snaggle-tooth canine of his. On a normal basis he wears a blue choker around his neck, an orange short-sleeved shirt, and a pair of green cargo shorts. his hands are kept in finger-less orange gloves, with his calloused finger-tips exposed for better use of his fingers when using and designing puppets and various tools.

He keeps his headband hanging from the waist of his shorts alongside two hanging suspenders of the same green color. During formal occasions he dresses up in an all-black outfit, where a long-sleeved jacket and full black pants are included. His skin is fairly average if not leaning on the lighter side when it comes to desert-folk, and he holds an average, slightly leaner build for someone of his size.

Getting to know you.

Personality: In terms of his patience, Iwari finds himself comparing himself to others on everything, to gauge his own abilities, though still holding enough of denial to believe that what they can beat him in he can overcome them in using a future puppet. Academically it was like this as well, where he had done an average performance overall, though when it came to the arts or tool-related topics he generally excelled greatly, showing a keen ambition in interest in those things, though showing a blatant lack of interest in the rest of the subjects. He shows a great deal of patience in trying to solve an issue he doesn't understand, but if he initially has no interest in the subject, he mind just wanders away, and he wants to do nothing more than to get back to doing what he wishes.

Iwari is the last person to claim that he doesn't have a temper. A few things anger him, and whether it's picking at the jewel on his forehead or trying to insult his beloved passion it all ends the same way; a long-lasting grudge where either a series of passive aggressive jabs or some sort of revenge is planned out. Iwari used to have a phase where he fought with other kids outright, but he realized at a young age that that's not what can get a point across, but instead an extended period of punishing.

His attitude in regards to learning new things and in regards to those that have offended him are what led Iwari to not yet become a member of a squad, and that the one that he was apart of initially merely dropped him in exchange for another, leaving him as the odd one out of his own graduating class. Though he wouldn't admit it, this move did affect him for more than he lets on.

He holds a deep care for Sunagakure as a whole. His affection towards the village and the shinobi way within it is also accompanied by a distrust of both outsiders and of those that oppose shinobi as a whole and, to a lesser extent, a lack of care for the citizens within it. To him Sunagakure isn't the people themselves, it's those that protect it and ensures that it will never fall to an opposing force. The importance of one shinobi is equal to that of five people.

Likes: Iwari of course loves puppets. It's not the fact that it can be an art form or that it's bringing something to life that's interesting to him, but rather that he sees an improved version of people within them. He loves the gadgets they hold, and sees that mixing a person with a puppet could create an untold power mix between what is real and what is imagined. He also loves the control it gives, which leads to his interest in Kekkei Genkai as a whole. If one can control a kekkei genkai, but not have it, then would it give them an advantage upon others? Even as far away as the Country or Wind he has heard of the Senju and Uchiha clans and their powerful Kekkei Genkai, and he has constantly been curious as to how he can make their power bend to Sunagakure.

He has an appreciation for art and music. Though unrelated to his own ambitions, he sees the use in them and how they train the mind to find a more creative method to overcome an obstacle. He is rather fond and lenient towards the creative minds of the world, and views an artist abandoning their gifts as a treasure lost.

Overall, despite his cocky demeanor, he does like other members of the village automatically in varying amounts, and feels an almost protective nature towards them when he sees an outsider.
Dislikes: Iwari dislikes free time as a whole, a contradictory feeling considering his abundance of free time thanks to his past actions, but he takes that free time and devoted it towards perfecting puppetry as a whole. Whenever he takes a break, he will reluctantly train or find some other activity to fill it up. He dislikes those that prefer to waste their time with doing nothing at all, seeing them as a poison tainting the village and even going far enough to vow to do something about that one day.

He hates those that look down upon the arts or puppetry as a whole. To him those that dislike those things are small-minded and unimaginative, and he will waste no time in either letting them know directly or waiting until the most inconvenient moment possible to screw them over. His selfishness gets extremely triggered if you're wasting money as well. He's a guy that pinches his pennies, and views his sometimes more successful monetary gains as an example for those that can't hold onto cash themselves.
Fears/Phobia: Iwari is easily intimidated and on-guard around outsiders, his Xenophobia keeping him from having much of an open mind about another without them doing something for him first. He's fearful of needles in general, and nearly all medical visits involving needles have resulted in him either being forcibly held down by others or bound so he can't escape whenever a needle comes. Finally, he fears being left behind, of being forced to give up being someone that can actually contribute towards making Sungakure stronger.

Ideals/Motivations: Iwari dreams of creating the ultimate fusion between man and puppet, and to use his expertise to make those that foolishly feel their unique abilities bend before Sunagakure. His desire for control and his attitude also plays into his more underlying desire to actually have a group that he is apart of, a clique or a squad that allows him to blossom with his puppetry. He wishes to distinguish himself as the greatest puppet master overall, seeing himself as someone that can one-up Monzaemon Chikamatsu himself. Finally, as someone that holds the jewel of greed within his heart, he in the long-run wished to become so rich that he can distributes large sums of cash to whoever he wishes, while still having enough for him to research new developments in puppetry and live without financial worry. It's a disgusting concept to him that there are people out there that willingly accept being poor when everyone has the ability to make a large profit off of their field.
History: Iwari was born three years before the founding of Sunagakure within the Country of Wind. His parents have been puppet users and his grandparents before them, and they all valued wielding their art with deadly efficiency. Since they didn't come from some famous or giant shinobi clan, and they weren't even in relation to Chikamatsu Monzaemon himself, Iwari's family wasn't exactly a family to go down in history for their eventual conjoining of themselves and the other clans later on down the road. Iwari was a middle child with four other siblings, and unlike most other middle children seeking the attention of their parents, he always had little interest in proving himself to his family, instead deciding to follow their path and carry on their love in puppetry. At the age of three the tyke was already showing an interest in the parts, and while he was still not developed enough to understand what they even were, he proved himself as someone to follow in his parents' footsteps at that very moment.

He would join the academy at the age of six and already with a basic understanding of puppetry. In the academy however is where he would soon learn that, unlike his siblings whom of which shared his affection towards the art, his classmates overall didn't even care, and that infuriated him. From day one he was destined to be an outsider among his class, and if a fellow student couldn't respect his art, he saw no reason why he should even care about respecting them. This attitude would quickly be reflected upon both his school record and on his social life, where he would get into multiple fights. When threatened to lose access to his puppets, however, the young male transitioned instead to figuring out other ways to get back at his classmates, which could range from stealing and hiding various items around the academy to spreading rumors about other students in order to get them to turn on one another.

Graduation was the happiest day of his life as it meant he can finally become a member of a squad and actually show his classmates why they should value the art more. This, of course backfired, as his lack of ability in teamwork had led to the utter failure of their first test with he himself being primarily responsible. Still, the now-twelve year old Genin only saw this as a minor setback, one at the fault of the others for not being compliant with him rather than just he himself not being open to the idea that he was the one at fault. It wouldn't be until their first mission that their sensei would actually leave him behind for good. It was supposed to be to catch some stupid animal, but somehow it ended up with said animal somehow maybe getting caught and injured in a contraption that Iwari may or may not have used due to his skipping out on physical training.

After this blunder though, his sensei saw the young male's innovation quite differently than what Iwari himself saw, and it wasn't much longer afterwards that, after a strong recommendation that a switch should be made so another Genin more capable can actually gain the squad experience, and young male was left behind in the dust, with a burning disdain for his sensei and old squad mates within him, and a childish fit of only devoting himself to his craft from then-on, refusing to see this decision as anything but an attempt to undermine him for trying to keep true to his craft.

A few months has passed since then, and now the young Genin of thirteen years of age has still shown that he is stuck in his way, though with a slowly growing desire to keep up with the others, will he possibly change?

This is almost perfect! But I'm afraid you're short 63 words on ideals and motivations (87/150)
