Torn Cloth, Bonded Allies [NK, Private]

Post by Satori Ryuutei on Mon Apr 09, 2018 8:27 pm

Escaping from the academy class had been simple enough for the young boys, and quickly dispelling the henge sending them back into the forms of two young-- if a bit tall-- boys. Satori would begin casually walking toward the edge of the village with a grin at the shorter boy, hands resting on his hips.

"See, not so bad is it?" he stated simply in amusement, commenting on the other boy's slight uncertainty when it came to the idea of leaving the class early. He supposed ditching wasn't something that Hibiki did a lot. Satori only did it so often because unless something was benefiting him, he didn't particularly care about it and tended to not bother. Sadly, with his home training that meant he tended to ditch class quite a bit, but due to his grades and skills it was generally overlooked.

He wasn't sure how they'd take to Hibiki leaving, but he doubted it mattered if he was going to help him become better at it all anyway. Grinning slightly he would turn, moving through the streets casually as he allowed his gaze to drift upward before blinking, realizing that he could save a bit of time later by looking at the cloth he was going to be fixing.

"Toss me your hoodie," he stated idly, opening a hand-- his claws notably having retracted entirely into his fingertips now as he waited. Once the hoodie was offered, he'd examine the holes his claws and fingers had shredded into the materials, examining the fraying materials carefully. It looked like it was made of a mixture of cotton and polyester, an easily mimicked material.

Grunting a bit, he would nod and place it on his shoulder while he checked the lining inside, as well as examined it for any markings and designs that he could spot. The more details he could make note of now the better. As he worked he decided to start up a bit of conversation with the boy he had just met, glancing down at him with a slight tilt of his head.

"You said you're a first generation ninja right? What do your parents do?" As he inquired this he would notice the lack of stitching in the clothing and made a mental note that it seemed the boy always had new clothing if nothing else. It may not seem like anything major to others, but to Satori that said something about a person, as well as their family. It meant that they usually gave away, or worse, threw away something just because it was a bit damaged. Compared to his own clothing that he took time to carefully repair seamlessly because he'd made it all in the first place.

Perhaps that was something he could teach the boy too, but shoving his own beliefs and doing things down someone's throat wasn't how he functioned, so, for now, it would do. Relaxing a bit, he would place the hoodie under one arm and wait for the response from the boy while they walked.

Hibiki was kinda disappointed to turn back into a human from, he was enjoying being a cat and made a mental note to try becoming a cat again when he got the jutsu down and workable. He looked around a few times to readjust to his surroundings, it took a second or two so he figured he would need to adapt to that too. He shyly nodded to Satori, it wasn't that bad he supposed but he still felt kinda bad for ditching. It wasn't so much about being in trouble now, it was more if he had somehow offended the teachers who were going to give feedback. He could always go back later, apologise, and ask for his feedback then as not to cause any offence.

He took off his hoodie and handed it over to Satori, it didn't have any distinguishing marks, just a pure black hoodie with basic stitching. It was quite untouched for two reasons, the first being he hadn't worn it in sparring before so it didn't have much of a chance to be worn, he had only brought it in the past few months too as he had outgrown his old hoodie in a near identical fashion.

He nodded once again to Satori and explained about his family "My mum's a blacksmith and my dad handles the storefront. They settled in Kirigakure not long before my brother was born so we're relatively new to the village and ninjas too. My mum makes great weapons though, a lot of chuunin and some jounin buy her weapons" it was clear from his tone he was quite proud of his mum, and now he started he couldn't stop talking about his family just yet "My older brother looks after the house and my little brother, he plans to follow my footsteps and become a ninja too but he's very gentle" he was quite comfortable talking about his family now he was comfortable around Satori. He hoped he didn't speak too much and cut himself off before he went on "What is your family like?" He asked curiously.

"Hm, a blacksmith huh?" Satori asked rhetorically, contemplating the answer briefly before listening to the rest with a blink. He was certainly proud of his family it would seem, that was something he could relate too, and it caused a slight grin to form, decorating his lips with an amused laugh.

"I see. You should tell your little brother to look into becoming a medical ninja then, though he's still going to have to understand that killing is a part of what we do. But at least that way if it doesn't work out, he'll have far more medical skill and knowledge than a normal doctor, and could have a career as a scientist or non-ninja medic in the hospitals as a support doctor or nurse." As he stated this, he would allow his gaze to lift upward, contemplating the question regarding his own family.

"Proud, Strong, and Pragmatic," Satori answered, short and firmly. He didn't rant and rave about them excitedly as Hibiki did, but the firm way he spoke, and the clear admiration on his face when he said it made it clear how much he respected them. With this, Satori continued forward with a slight smile decorating his lips.

Moving forward, he would glance down at Hibiki as they made their way through the slowly thinning buildings the closer to the edge they became. "When we break past the village edge, we'll be heading into the forest. Don't worry if you feel like you're being watched, you probably are," as he explained this he would hook his wrists over the sheathed blade once more. Casual about the entire thing as he would glance upward measuring the amount of time they had before it was completely dark.

The trip itself would be fairly peaceful, however, once they approached the forest edge the air would grow more silent-- the sounds of birds and insects stopping rather suddenly as Satori simply took the lead. Winding along the thin stone path that wound through the forest, until they came to a cluster of tree's that then left a wide opening. As soon as they stepped through it, the sounds returned, now joined with boisterous laughter, clanking of dishes and steel, and the sounds of children playing.

Before them was a large clearing in the middle of the forestry and with it a great stone wall made of reinforced earth style. The massive gate that rested before them was large enough to fit an elephant through, made of strong wood with large metal hinges. Carved into the door was the Ryuutei clan symbol, but notably, there were no guards. Instead, Satori simply raised a hand and the gate seemed to simply open. Revealing inside, where a multitude of separate buildings decorated the inner workings, a large pond settled in the center with pathways of large circular stones just like the one leading to the compound connecting them.

Children dashed through the area as, despite it being near dark, the entire compound seemed alive. Ryuutei of varying ages and genders dashed about, the males were all similar to Satori with wild hair, feline eyes, large sizes and fangs with claws. The females were all paler, and more petite but held similar hair and eye colors even if they looked fairly normal. Adults were skinning kills and gutting animals in front of the children without concern, meals were being prepared indoors by men, and women were holding maps and papers strategizing inside varying buildings as they planned the hunt.

"Welcome to my home," he stated with a grin, glancing over his shoulder to Hibiki as he raised both hands idly, the great gate closing with a resounding thud behind them.

Hibiki was thinking of similar thing with regards to his brother's career as a potential ninja, but he didn't intend to tell him until he started to learn about being a ninja himself. He felt it was best his brother got an experience for what different areas of being a ninja involved first before trying to guide him down a path. He figured that way, if his brother had a great talent in a certain area it wouldn't be missed. In all honesty, he doubted his brother could become a ninja because he was such a gentle soul, a doctor sounded like something far better suited to him. Plus then he wouldn't have to worry about his brother getting hurt or killed in action.

The sheer contrast in how different the descriptions of family were made Hibiki somewhat self conscious, perhaps he had rambled a bit? It was pretty clear that Satori respected them so he was probably just as proud, he was just better at conveying it in a short manner.

Hibiki took a deep breath as he realised they were entering the forest. In all honesty, the fear of being watched was the least of his worries. His heart started to beat faster as he anticipated a large spider jumping out at him, his senses becoming hypersensitive to any arachnid life forms. He really didn't want to make a fool of himself, it took all his focus to look normal still.

Hibiki stayed silent for the journey, and mercifully no spiders jumped out to savagely attack them in a clear motive to eat the young ninja alive. It soon became eerily quiet, something that piqued Hibiki's fear, but it soon subsided  as the sound of life returned.

Okay, so that gate thing was creepy, Hibiki assumed it was some complex jutsu of some kind, that or someone inside could smell him? Maybe, they did seem to be kinda animalistic from his fight with Satori.   A smile came over the young boy's face as he glanced around, he had seen his brother gut and skin some wild animals he'd brought from the market when he cooked, so whilst he wasn't comfortable with doing it himself just yet he didn't mind seeing it.

The girls were kinda cute too, he had expected them to be similar to Satori, but it was nice to see a difference. He looked up to Satori and patted his shoulder "Cool family by the way. Where're your mum and dad?" He was curious really, it'd be interesting to see what his parents were like, he had a feeling Satori took after his mum for some reason. He could be completely wrong, but his gut was telling him that for some reason.

Satori chuckled softly as the boy commented on his family being "cool", laughing softly. That was the first time he'd heard that usually it was a bit more exaggerated than that, or a more negative term was used. It was refreshing, in a way, to hear it said in such a way. Though, the question regarding his parents caused him to pause and sniff the air a few times, tracking their chakra and scents for a brief moment.

"My father is in the elders building. Mother Raika is in the medical wing of the compound, so is mother Chuya. Mother Hanako is in the warehouse, and I can't smell her, but at a guess, I'd say mother Kyoko was in the family house, she rarely leaves due to her health." Despite this, Satori's thoughts were torn from this as cries of welcome spilled out from the nearby building, three bouncing young girls dashing across the grounds, other members easily dodging them, used to such antics.

Moving forward despite this, he was tackled from multiple sides, three small girls, one about a foot shorter than him the other two far more petite slightly shorter than he and Hibiki both despite appearing about the same age as them. Each girl attaching themselves to his arms, and the last and largest tacking his throat, arms wrapping around his neck and legs around his waist as she clung to his chest.

Despite the force of the tackles, Satori simply grunted and continued to walk forward as he glanced down at the three girls clinging to him. One was blonde-- the one clinging to his throat, the other two held pitch black hair like him, the two smaller girls appeared totally normal, calling his name in sing-song tones as well as calls of "Welcome home!". The last girl, the blonde looked up at him showing brilliant green catlike eyes and feline traits just like Satori, despite being female-- in fact, she appeared to be the only female with the traits.

"I'm home, Saika, Serena, Hiyori," he stated calmly as his arm lifted the girls up, crossing his hands to pet their heads one at a time before continuing to walk forward with the girls danging off his body.

"These are my sisters, Hibiki," he stated looking over his shoulder toward the boy as he offered a grin, before glancing down at the girls.

"Where are your manners? Say hello properly, hop off," he stated sternly, causing the girls to whine, before dropping to their feet and turning toward Hibiki as Satori waited patiently behind them. The girls would all incline their heads, introducing themselves-- the two girls that appeared to be identical twins were Serena and Saika, the blonde was Hiyori. Afterward, they would straighten and wait for the boys' response to their combined introduction, Satori shaking his head in bemusement.

He understood Hiyori, but usually, women in his clan were far more reserved and calm. He blamed Kiyoshi, their father had an unusually feral personality-- even by male Ryuutei standards. It seemed he had inherited his mother's personality, and his sisters had inherited their father's personality instead.

Ah, his dad was probably one of the elder's guards or advisers or something then means he was there. He didn't expect any less really, it made sense for somebody like Satori to be related to somebody quite senior within the clan. The thought never crossed his mind that Satori's dad might be the clan leader, he assumed Satori wouldn't be wasting his time with a first gen if his immediate family was so senior within the clan.

His mother was a medical ninja huh, that was kinda cool and probably useful given how Satori fought.... Hibiki blinked a few times at the mention of a second mother.... then a third. It took a few seconds for Hibiki to cotton on, so they had multiple wives huh. That wasn't the most interesting part to Hibiki though, it was the fact Satori considered each one his mother so there didn't seem to be any overt favouritism or anything. It was certainly very different to what he was used to, but that didn't make it bad or anything.

His mouth opened to comment when he was rather caught off guard by the sudden assault on Satori. They were probably his sisters or something but they were completely crazy by the looks of it. Hibiki shyly smiled and waved to the three girls after they introduced themselves and bowed a little "Nice to meet you Hiyori, Serena and Saika" They were all kinda cute which only served to make Hibiki a little more nervous. He was certainly out of his depth to say the least and glanced back to Satori "How are you still walking with three people hanging off you?" That was kinda scary when he thought about it, he figured he'd struggle to stay on his feet when tackled by one of the girls yet alone all three of them.
